How Swiss Echo Lab handles submitted text, analysis caching and feedback.

Who operates this service — Swiss Echo Lab is an experimental language-learning project operated by Eben Sermon in Switzerland.

What you submit — Text you type is sent to Plapperi for translation and to OpenAI for linguistic analysis. The complete text is not permanently stored by Swiss Echo Lab. Generated analyses are cached for up to 30 days, then automatically deleted.

Browser storage — Swiss Echo Lab stores saved word pairs in localStorage and the last analysis result in sessionStorage. No cookies are set. No analytics or tracking are active.

Feedback — Feedback form responses (page name and free-text answers) are stored. No email address is collected.
